Admissions
Our Savior's School does not discriminate in admissions, access, treatment, or employment in its programs and activities on the basis or race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion or handicapping conditions. The first six weeks of school are considered a probationary period for all students. A student may be dismissed at the end of the six-week probationary period for academic or disciplinary reasons. Admission RequirementsStudents are grouped by age with each grade enrolling children with birthdays between December 1st and November 30th. The required procedure for enrolling a child in our school is as follows:
EnrollmentRe-enrollmentDuring the third quarter of each year current students are offered opportunity to enroll in classes for the following school year. Parents must indicate their intention by submitting a re-enrollment form and paying a non-refundable enrollment fee. All outstanding financial obligations to the school must be paid prior to re-enrollment.
Required FormsImmunization Certificates - By law, children cannot be admitted to school unless a complete immunization certificate is on file in the school office. These forms are checked yearly by Health Department officials for complete, up-to-date information. Emergency Information Form - Each student must have a signed and completed emergency form on file at school. This form is required for emergency medical treatment. Parents must keep the school informed of any changes in telephone numbers or other information. Parents are also asked to name those persons to whom their child may be released after school. Students may be picked up only by those persons listed, unless the school is notified of other special arrangements. WithdrawalsNotification Requirements - Written notice of a student's planned withdrawal must be submitted 30 days in advance. Parents are responsible for tuition for 30 days following notice of withdrawal. Withdrawal forms are available in the school office. Refunds - Application/testing, enrollment, book and fees, and the first month's tuition are non-refundable. For those who prepay tuition in full by August 1st and withdraw their child during the school year, tuition refunds are made according to the following schedule:
Forwarding of Student RecordsHealth records, test scores, report cards, etc. are confidential. When a student transfers from our school it is our policy that the receiving school must send a written request for these records, and the records will be forwarded directly to the new school. Copies of the child's academic transcript and health records are retained in our files. No records are released until all fees are paid in full. |
