Curriculum
Our Savior's School utilizes the A-Beka curriculum for subjects, unless otherwise noted. We also conduct weekly chapel services. K3-K5The preschool curriculum is based on an age-appropriate, hands-on approach. Arts and crafts, cooking projects, physical coordination activities, games and free play are all offered to broaden the child's horizons. An extensive readiness program emphasizes listening, critical thinking, problem solving and social skills. Science, social studies, phonics, pre-reading skills, mathematics, art, music, and motor development are taught through interdisciplinary units and games that actively involve the child. Field trips enrich and expand units taught in the classroom. Christian faith is encouraged through Bible stories, prayers, music, a weekly chapel service and showing love and concern for others. Each child receives constant, positive reinforcement of his/her importance as an individual. We strive to prepare children intellectually and morally for responsible citizenship. We educate the whole child, training the mind and body for a life within the positive influence of God. Grades 1 - 8
